Whole area getting a crush job at the moment. Short range models have this batch holding on until early afternoon.

If it does, we'll get the big amounts.  I'm not convinced it does, look at the Mt Holly radar, back edge moving pretty quickly out of Philly.  Hard to imagine how it hangs on unless it stalls out

The comma head area over NNJ is forecasted to be the focusing point as the rain to the south pivots northeast, and now the HRRR is looking very interesting after 00z.

if we get a pivot there, NNJ NYC will do well in the rainfall dept.  If it doesn't, rainfall will be capped around .75 or maybe an inch at best
