Lava Rock
-SN, 32.2°FNice little screw zone over our area. Doesn't look like I'll eclipse 100" so let's get on to spring already.
drew13btv
From Vergennes south down to Rutland snow accumulating on RT-116 and RT-7. The northbound lanes were 100% snow covered. Pretty treacherous travel for those not expecting it (as it seems not a single general member of the public was). Of course relative to an actual storm its insignificant but these truly are more dangerous times in my opinion. People don't have the appropriate mindset if the warnings and such are not in place regardless of what is right in front of their eyes.
SouthCoastMA
A few sleet pellets mixing in with the rain down here. Noticed them on my windshield. Winter's last gasps

DPWs often miss these events Forgive me as I am not a permanent Vermont resident, just recent transplant. But my understanding is that the policy doesn't even account for any action in these types of events. I can't remember it exactly but doesn't the policy have some corny catchphrase? Like we only clear streets if an event meets WSW criteria only (obviously not it but what it feels like)

ma blizzard
really surprised that it has been mostly rain w/o much sleet mixed in thus far in Lowell. Would have thought there would be more sleet with the modeled low lvl cold but it has not been the case.
