NorEastermass128
Your area was mentioned as having a better shot, but with question marks still. It may end up just N and NE of you...that's the breaks with late season events sometimes. We had accumulating snow here at work despite daylight on 4/8. The alternative is 35 and drizzle. I guess folks are in banana hammock season, but that will have to wait a bit. Maybe Monday. Friday?
CoastalWx
Friday? If we can bust the front north without low clouds and crud, perhaps.
powderfreak
HRRR continues to be a good widespread light snowfall for VT/NH/ME. Still curious how that gradient in NE Mass or SH NH plays out.
ORH_wxman
Friday? Friday is more of a dirty warm sector. Some spots might not hit 60. Not exactly banana hammock weather though it probably will feel like it after today and tomorrow
powderfreak
I would bet $ I (along with MPM and Lurker) see a better winter than this within 5 years. Yeah, I could see that definitely. Same up here. But that's another thread discussion.
powderfreak
Light snow falling, but I'm curious about the building echos to the west of BTV over the eastern Adirondacks.

CoastalWx
That MCV is going to really give some S+ to a narrow area tonight. It's a shame it wasn't south, but that's the nature of convection.

powderfreak
Quick whitening. Nice banding and almost like a couple different meso-lows in the regional radar.
CoastalWx
Quick whitening. Nice banding and almost like a couple different meso-lows in the regional radar. Looks uninspiring to some in NNE. Just will bring more mud.

powderfreak
Saranac Lake has picked up 0.21" in the bucket in the past 2 hours with moderate to heavy snow...probably seeing 1"/hr there. Ausable Forks in the eastern Adirondacks closer to Lake Champlain also looks to be getting ripped right now.
eduggs
31F and light sleet at 1400ft in ENY. There was a brief burst and a few gusts. Nothing overly impressive.
powderfreak
Man VSF on the VT/NH border is 31/27 with freezing rain. That's a cold late-afternoon into evening low level cold profile to allow for ZR this time of year.

Randy4Confluence
Even though the radar says I'm sleeting and even snowing, it's 100% untethered, plain, mundane-rain and 33.

TalcottWx
Looking toward the berks, probably going to translate to a good snow for many north of pike
CoastalWx
Looking toward the berks, probably going to translate to a good snow for many north of pike I don't think it will get that far south. Maybe it retreats south a bit, but the mix line is into KMHT. That MCV is really helping to pump in some warm air aloft.
powderfreak
Oddly not doing much of anything after the initial whitening, despite what radar says. MVL is 1.0sm -SN but it sure isn't doing that here, which is interesting. Assume that retreating high is keeping it drier and more spotty the further NE you go.
