OntarioChaser Posted April 2, 2015 Share Posted April 2, 2015 12z guidance has begun to paint a pretty interesting picture for northern Lower Michigan, Southern Ontario, and parts of NY regarding a prolonged period of freezing rain with significant ice accretion. This could be similar in many respects to the April 11th, 2013 event which resulted in about 1-1.5cm of ice across the KW-GTA region. The GFS ice accumulation map has a couple small pockets of 4cm...
