Bob Chill
I see Bob posting. I heard about a serial flasher in Rockville and was a little worried. I can relax now. heh, the only indecent exposure I'm guilty of is working in the garden with loose shorts. Which reminds me of a funny moment in time...i was working in the yard on a blazing hot day with no shirt and baggy shorts....which were riding low when I was bending over pulling weeds...and my neighbors house was for sale and there were prospective buyers in the back yard that I didn't know about until I looked between my legs and saw them standing near my fence looking over. They didn't buy the house.

EastCoast NPZ
The humidity along the SC coast can get downright absurd at times. I remember seeing dews tickling the upper 70s during summertime. I was in Myrtle during Aug in either 2007 (or 2008, can't quite remember) and it was the most uncomfortable I've ever been. One night the low was 84F, and several days were 100F+. That's what I envision hell to be. It was awful; I couldn't wait for the vacation to end and to leave that miserable place. It actually made me appreciative of summers here. nw baltimore wx
^^^ Lol. Nice. I wanted to stay in Tampa an extra couple of days for opening day, but it's just not the same. Let's get a series win on the road and do it right on Friday.
mattie g
It's glorious down here. Found a boat for rent on air bnb and will be sleeping bobbing in the water for three nights. Even tomorrow's 73 and rain is gong to feel great. Doing folly beach on Sunday. My first time in charleston. I am already in love with it. Walked around downtown tonight. So much fun. Charleston is a great city - the cultural benefits of a big city in a small city package. It does get obnoxiosly humid down there for a few months, but the trade off is well worth it. It's definitely one of the places I'd look to move to if the job situation presented itself.

My brother in law moved down there two years ago from hoco. He was able to get rid of all but one jacket. They've even been to beach on Christmas day with temps in the 70s and he hasn't seen snow since being there. Just a bit of ice.

CAPE
I will be in Charleston SC for a week beginning Saturday. Its a business trip, but I will be downtown every night. To me its a free vacation, plus I get paid for doing a little work.
EastCoast NPZ
Lol You should change your screen name to Eeyore. Perhaps..., but if it was Dec 25 here and it was 70F, this entire board (save for MattieG) would be full-on cliff-diving.

dailylurker
Was out splitting and stacking wood for next winter. Broke a pretty good sweat out there. I usually have it done by now, but that snow cover prevented it.

Bob Chill
If there are any trout fisherman on here, Lake Needwood in Rockville is easy pickings right now since they stocked on Friday. Took my younger kids yesterday and today. Caught 8 and 6 rainbow trout in less than 2 hours each day. Will probably be very good for another week or 2. I fell in love with rainbow trout as a kid when we lived in Sun Valley, ID. Plucked them out of the river while camping.

dailylurker
Anyone else catch this today? I saw it today leaving work. Thought I smelled smoke too. http://www.businessinsider.com/large-fire-erupts-near-washington-dc-2015-4 Didn't hear about that one. I did see a picture a friend took of a large brush fire on the eastern shore. I think it was along route 50, north of Easton.
