SJonesWX Posted April 21, 2015 Share Posted April 21, 2015 i go up to help my dad rake his lawn every year. he has a couple big oaks in his yard. this year was a complete acorn disaster, more than i have ever seen, and he said that he has never seen as many, and he has lived there 30+ years. what a mess of acorns. Nice, I grew up near Chester Springs in Chester County. Those pics are from 2 summers ago at my house near West Chester. Yea I agree, April is actually a pretty nice month down there compared to NE. Crabgrass bites the dust after the first frost in the fall. All mature grabgrass plants only last 1 season. It's all the seeds they dropped all summer in 2014(and earlier years ) that will now sprout this summer.
