I do work out of the house on weekends. Our landscaper wanted to overseed, but I think we need to come in and lay down ~1" deep layer of loam then seed. Thoughts? Turn it into a garden bed. Screw the lawn. With the warmth thru Dec it will germinate I know you asked about that area a few months ago, there are definitely some issues there--soil, shade, roots etc. Not sure what, but even weeds don't want to grow there.
