Ginx snewx
If this winter ends like this with the moon shining and snow still falling onto a pure white encased landscape it will be fitting. Best ever

sankaty
About 3" today. About .25 this morning, which melted during the late morning lull, and then another 2.75" this afternoon/evening. 27F.
NorthShoreWx
3.5" here, including a few hours of S with no net accumulation. 23.4" is a good March for these parts.
CoastalWx
Nothing much here in Andover really. Big difference from home. Not often you drive to this area and have less of a snow pack late in the season.

Best ever Congrats. Thankfully for NNE these Marches and amount of whiffs in general don't come around often, lol. Only 21" at the office this March, and 39" at 3000ft. Can't wait till we pop out of our multi-seasonal slump.

Hazey
Storm total 9". Total average snow on ground depth 27". Incredible for this time of year. I have never seen anything like it. On a side note a scary moment at our airport #YHZ. An A320 skidded off the runway during the height of the storm. 25 of the 138 persons on board were injured. Thankfully all with non life threatening injuries. Plane is extensively damaged. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

lakeeffectkid383
2.7" on the snowboard, 1.5" on the driveway here in Westerly. Didn't expect this much. Roads that haven't been plowed are terrible.
HoarfrostHubb
Honest question...at this point, why hope we're not done? I get that most here are snow lovers, and I like it too, but man, I don't need any more days of 34 and light snow approaching April. Local ski hill open until April 12...maybe longer Gold Pass... many days and nights of spring skiing left. After that, I hope for a Morch-like warmup to melt and dry us out

CoastalWx
BHO just updated. 5.0" Just to rub it in MQE special. Definitely helped to be over 600' there. We were in that band all day and I kept thinking we would have had 6-7" if it were a few weeks earlier.
Ginx snewx
I just looked back through the 18z/00z/6z models over the past 24 hours and really can't find much of anything in the mesos (NAM/RGEM/WRFs/SREFS) along with the globals that strongly indicate what you are saying with a 2 part event. All have pretty steady light precip output every 3-hours throughout the day today into this evening, tapering off by 8pm. What specifically did you see to think 2-part event aside from a showery look to the precip fields? two parter awt

The whole evolution was obvious to us and we are just weenies. Guess DPW in some towns didn't believe it either judging by the reports last night of glare ice. CoastalWx
In ern areas it wasn't really a two part system. It was either snowing during the day, or started during the evening in srn areas.
