LongBeachSurfFreak
And let me guess it dies as it approaches the city? Absolutely unless it's super elevated there is no juice to work with city east. The only hope we have for severe early on is with warm fronts as evidenced by the cell over Suffolk earlier
NorthShoreWx
Quite the snow-eater today. First fog, then heavy rain and high winds with temps spiking mid - upper 50s.

UlsterCountySnowZ
And let me guess it dies as it approaches the city? Yea most likely will do the same for Alot of the LHV especially on the eastern side of mountains running parallel to the Hudson, when I lived in highland falls down by the river, I would watch storms explode on the radar and reports out of Newburgh, new windsor, Monroe etc of monster storms, sure as **** tho, as soon as it ran over the storm king mountain or bear mountain areas, a few rumbles of thunder and heavy rain, only to watch it redevelope with my own eyes as it passes over the Hudson and smashes putnum/ dutchess I was very disgruntled

UlsterCountySnowZ
Pouring here as well, no strikes tho, doubt we'll see any up here, the line moving through Jersey into NYC and lower rockland is producing lighting from what I see on radar
gravitylover
Plenty of lightning in northern Westchester/southern Putnam when I got home a half hour ago. I don't think it was C2G but it looked good through the windshield.
