CoastalWx
How often can you say this on March 26th in Boston metro during a 45-50F rain event where it's been over a month since out last warning criteria event? Kind of mind-boggling. Dude I can stand on it. Dumbfounded. I mean obviously I know why, but this is a first. My neighbor still has 15-19" lol. I have one small bare spot under a tree, but even my front is solid 6-10. Back is still over a foot. Will melt a bit tonight.

I have one small bare spot under a tree, but even my front is solid 6-10. Back is still over a foot. Will melt a bit tonight. My side yard still looks like a glacier. It's the place that my neighbor and myself put all our snow and it doesn't get a lot of sun, but it bakes half the day. I still have snow on part of my roof so that's one test. A brief look makes it look like 5-6" left out there. The high was 13" yesterday if I remember and the lowest being some bare spots in the sun baked areas. I think we're good till about mid-April in open areas and late April in the protected areas of the woods baring some rogue April heat wave. moneypitmike
We retained the pack aside from where the sugarer plowed a path to drive through for sap collection. Stayed on the cool side (38.9 for a high) which certainly helped. rn/sn

CapturedNature
For 5-6"? No way. Not for measurable but there will still probably be a trace two weeks from now. Like I said, there was areas over a foot yesterday. I don't see that melting in a couple of days. I'll let the woods speak for themselves and report back. CoastalWx
That will go fairly easily. Piles are another story, but aside from a glacial cubby hole..I don't see how 5-6" last through mid April.

CT Valley Snowman
my backyard is pretty much split in half, the right side a few crusty patcheswith lots of grass and the left side with a cover ranging from 1 to 9.

Kind of mind-boggling. Amazing really. My yard still has me locked out of coming in through the back door unless I want to trudge through it or on top of it with dress shoes in...lol. A few areas have holes but most of the cover is pretty solid still closing out March after a 36 hour spring period.

Baroclinic Zone
You are in a real open area though. I bet other parts of TAN are snowier. Nope. The secondary roads up to Rt 44 are all pretty much snow bank free now too. Only areas that receive just about zero sun have any semblance of snow pack. I've never understood the people that just trash up their property with old cars, tires, junk. I mean what makes someone want to do that? i'm not able to comprehend that.
