Professional Lurker
I believe we will soon enter a debate as to what defines the pack as being gone. We're still cold here, but that'll change soon enough. Dense fog. A few patches of grass in exposed areas means it's gone, just like a few green sparkles in the woods means full leaf out. HoarfrostHubb
Wiz needs to get his ham ready for the first severe reports of the year THE SHIELD OF ISENTROPIC LIFT LEADING THIS LOW IS FORECAST TO REACH WESTERN NEW ENGLAND AROUND 16Z AND OVERSPREAD OUR AREA BEFORE 18Z. A 70 KNOT LOW LEVEL JET WILL MOVE OVER OUR AREA THIS AFTERNOON AND MAINTAIN THE LIFT THROUGH EVENING. PRECIPITABLE WATER VALUES IN THE AIRMASS FEEDING OVER US CONTINUE TO BE ADVERTISED AT 1.0 TO 1.25 INCHES...NEAR 2 SD FOR LATE MARCH. SO THERE IS POTENTIAL FOR LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS. STABILITY PARAMETERS CONTINUE TO SHOW SOME POTENTIAL FOR THUNDER...LIKELY ELEVATED...OVER OUR AREA.

CoastalWx
You can melt if you want to, Watch it melt down with time, Cause if your snow doesn't melt, like Tolland's gonna melt well than your no torch of mine. Say, we can melt if you want to, Snow they'll never find, And weenies can act like snow will never leave this world, And leave green grass behind. tamarack
23" at the stck this morning, with about 6.5" LE, and clouds remain solid. Unless we get a downslope torch tomorrow (or a surprise 2" deluge today, which seems very unlikely), I expect to have about 18" left on Sat morning.
