Hoosier
A couple stats for ORD Last 4" or greater snow after 3/20: 3/21-22/2008 (5.4") Last 6" or greater snow after 3/20: 3/21-22/1992 (8.8") ORD is certainly over 4" at this point. Might be close as far as getting to 6"
Geos
Big difference between work in Racine and home. Roads were snow covered from Kenosha southward, but mainly wet north. Probably only 1.5" in Racine, but I wouldn't doubt near 4" at home. Heaviest total I saw in NE IL so far. 1015 AM SNOW BULL VALLEY 42.31N 88.35W03/23/2015 M6.3 INCH MCHENRY IL COCORAHSTOTAL SO FAR. Hoosier
Just had a spurt of big flakes. Not many of them, but they were huge. Very interesting... For having 35+ dbz overhead, it was underwhelming. When it's not snowing hard with those echoes, there's either sleet mixing in or a dry layer.
