Hurricane Agnes
What does "Bust" mean...seriously? No one gives a crap what accumulates on the grass. Philly roads will be just fine....and melt. I left work early from downtown Philly... on granular slush-covered main streets downtown, and got home to slushy to snow-covered side streets near where I live. There was about 1" downtown on the colder surfaces and parked cars and already 2" up here. And no one put any brine or other treatment down. The car read 32F all the way home. Definite winter wonderland similar to the last storm with everything plastered. If it continues like this, we may get close to the progged 3 - 4". The coastal is not even up here yet. OBS SN & fog (vis down to about 1/2 mile) Temp 31.5F DP 30.9F Winds SE, light
iceman56
3.5" in NW Chesco with 32.5 degrees DP 28. Snowing moderately with larger flakes mixing in. Main road is slushy, just plowed driveway and the snow is having no trouble resticking. Sun angle having decreasing effect from here on out. MattMal88
Wow I went to sleep around 10 and woke up to a winter wonderland outside! Dumping snow in NE Philly. Eyeballing it I'd say 2-2.5 inches on the grass and cars. Street outside my house is covered with an inch or so. Didn't think it'd accumulate on the roads during the afternoon. Nice little surprise to wake up to!
