4-6" is definitely a good call. We should all be able to pick up another inch or two before it ends.

Not over here, I like 2-4 just to your east in Woodbridge. But so what, it's snowing and its the first day of spring. And all I hear around me are people groaning. Gotta come here to see people who appreciate a good snow....

SW CT getting killed. North Shore of the Island doing pretty well too. Mod-heavy here. 2.7in

That whole area around Stamford & Greenwich almost always cleans up...something about the interaction between the low hills and the Sound.....just getting blasted in coastal Fairfield County

Unbelievable how it's not sticking on car tops in midtown. I would think Central Park got at least an inch or two but the roads and sidewalks are only wet. I can't wait to go home and see how much more snow we got in the yonkers/bronx border

Edit: biggest bust this year for manhattan

It's not a bust for Manhattan if 4" of snow stuck to the grass in Central Park and much less in Times Square. Snow is measured on grass, not on the 42nd Street pavement. This has happened before and it was likely going to be an issue with the late March sun and warm prior temps. Stop complaining.

Been in Princeton without internet access since 10 am.  When we left there at 4 pm, they had 3" on the ground and it was 32F.  Roads on the way back to Metuchen (27 and 1) were getting slushy with moderate to heavy snow falling and the sun getting low in the sky - took an hour to get back (normally a 30 minute drive).

As of 5:15 pm, here in Metuchen, it's 31F and we have 3.25" of new snow and it's ripping out there (was lighter when I got back around 5 pm) - definitely heavy snow with slightly less than 1/4 mile visibility - gorgeous snowfall, clinging to everything with no wind.  3.75" is a lock, which would bring me to 50" for the season - thinking we get 5", looking at the radar.  Nice little storm.

Amazing to think we will hit 50 this winter, that goes down as darn good.

Now 3.5 inches new snow Port Jeff 4:45 PM / 1.2 inches of snow in the last hour...snow continues to come down moderate to sometimes heavy snow.

Snow has slackened just a fraction in the last 20 minutes or so; picked up 9/10ths of an inch in the last hour; now 4.4 inches new snow @ 5:45 PM.

Central Park had 1.5" at 4 pm, so they probably have at least 2" by now and should make 3" vs. the 3-6" forecast.  Sounds like a good forecast to me.  Man, do people know how to whine around here or what?
