Big Jims Videos
I could really use some of that Sun-angle right now in Monmouth County
ag3
it never was goin to stick in Manhattan or the 5 boro's for that matter it's just going to be a taint stone as you said, white rain It's sticking here in Queens and it will stick in ALL the boroughs after 4-5pm. UlsterCountySnowZ
Moderate snows been falling last hour, just about .25" on grass, dusting on streets
weatherpruf
Some of you are making me confused. One says its over by 6 ( if that's so you can stick a fork in this one right now, it ain't gonna amt to much ) others saying 4-7 hours left. I have around 3/4 inch or so in Colonia, it is not sticking to anything but grass, it looks nice and its March so who cares. If it snows more tonight I expect 3-4 inches maybe 5 and its all gone tomorrow.
ag3
Not sure where 4-7 hours of accumulating snow for NYC and north is coming from. The heavy stuff is still moving more E than NE from DE and even showing breaks coming out of NE PA. It doesn't appear that we are going to hit the forecasted amounts north of I80 based on radar. Hi-res models have enhancement from the coastal in the next 2-3 hours. Euro also.
WintersGrasp
pretty heavy snow here in Monmouth county (here for work), but the radar looks pretty bad for NNJ back home. Unless something really changes, a couple to 3 inches looks more likely there.....maybe a couple inches more here

BxEngine
This is a bust for Manhattan. It's just not sticking simple as that. I was afraid this would be a taint storm and it's turning out that way! Bring on spring There are zero mixing issues, stop.
NycStormChaser
Hi-res models have enhancement from the coastal in the next 2-3 hours. Euro also. Should end in the city between 7 and 10. That's 4-7 hours of snow.

Saturn510
The funny thing is people worried about totals now and think they will get only 2 or 3 inches between now and the end. Well if you add the 2-3 inches you think and what you have now,.... theres your 4-5 inches.
ag3
Per Don, NYC had 0.2 at 2pm... when 0.3 liquid had fallen at the park. Seems to me there isn't too much of a sticking problem in Central Park... It's just going to be a matter of actually getting the precip... NYC had .03" of liquid. I know that's what you probably meant.
