powderfreak
00z EURO and GFS both brought back snow potential for Saturday. GFS pastes north of the Pike and SVT/SNH, while the EURO pastes us up here. Hopefully that threat can grow some legs.

wxsniss
Everyone will get excited over the next 13 hours, then it will sink south at the tenth and eleventh hours. Rinse, repeat. Won't even have to wait that long... Canadian models already slinked south. Models converging towards a low impact mean.
CoastalWx
Man if we can stay somewhat dry, Friday looks nice and warm.

CoastalWx
I thought it looked like a nice 1-3 pike south .. No? Maybe on the NAM. 6z GFS looks rather dry and south, same with euro and RGEM. The 6z GFS was maybe a couple of inches in the hills near Danbury but south of 00z.
Damage In Tolland
Well who cares with the Euro. I had seen the 00z GFS. RGEM looks weird as it brings several inches right up to the state border and then nothing? That doesn't make sense. I think an inch or 2 can't be ruled out at all
CoastalWx
I wouldn't get excited. I suppose you have a shot for something, but eh.
CoastalWx
Looks like Pete B swinging for the fences and going 66 on Friday. Hmm. Not sure about that if it rains.

Seems like NNE has the best chance, but it's been all over the place.
Damage In Tolland
light snow covering most of CT and W Ma now moving east. Snowy morning
Damage In Tolland
And then translate that kind of epicness to the coast in E MA, as anomalous as it is in interior CT. Friday's 70's on the Euro would wipe that idea out..but I have a feeling that's not going to pan out like that. Euro is alone on that.

CoastalWx
There definitely could be a good band to the north of the low tomorrow night maybe into srn areas...but boundary layer may be a bit mild. I guess for those areas they can pay attention to the runs this morning.

Looked for myself, and the GFS has no snow at all until you get to n ORH CO/S NH....I have a feeling this one is rain for much of sne. Terrible pattern of whiffs and cutters may very well close this winter out. Best winter with the worst finish ever, should that come to pass. EURO is warmer. Professional Lurker
I can see the springfield/monson tornado scarI've seen that, and honestly can't tell whether that's the tornado path or the pike.
Whineminster
Of course I'll take a N ORH special, its about time since we haven't jacked in a storm all winter, which is rare....but of course I'll be down the Cape for Easter this weekend... Cold Miser
Want a white Easter.. Then ready for summer if there's no more snow threats . But only if there's no chance . If it's over lets get hot and stickyEven if it doesn't snow aren't you in a position to still have 100% coverage in your backyard? White Easter (Christmas, etc.) to me means considerable coverage, and not necessarily snowing on THAT day.

Damage In Tolland
As several of us surmised earlier in the weekend..looks like we can skip spring this year and get right to summer with dews and warmth mid April on Anthony Masiello @antmasiello 4m 4 minutes ago The original idea of going from winter to summer this April I think still stands for Northeast. But, cold pool will be a tough beat down.
