Model Discussion for April

wow when ginxy isnt enthused, theres probably not much hope for more snow

somebody's going to get smoked from your latitude to PF, watch.I get the moniker of being pro snow because I love it but know when to hold them . I am starting to see what Kevin is talking about, that's an impressive cold low dew high. Will and Scooter mentioned an overprefomer in the overunning sector, definitely something to watch how powerful that low level cold press is.

Wouldn't be surprised in the least. Fits with the overall tenor of the back of this season perfectly. Rain, then whiff

It's not even the back of the season, it's most of the season. There were three magical weeks for E SNE and a little more for CT and parts of RI but the pattern overall went cutter/whiff for many on this forum for much of the season. That being said I am quite intrigued by modeling for this week but the specter of lows being shunted S looms heavy in my mind.

Hard to believe I've really gone the entire balance of the winter post mid level magician without catching a single break, but I have.

You need a DGEX solutions...basically back to back warning events to get you to the record next week...lol.

I know...I could so see myself coming out of next week with like 2" that only accumulates on remnant snowbanks

Better chance of the latter than anything big...we've got a shot, but it's a convoluted setup in April...so you bet on minor snows and be pleasantly surprised if things work out for a larger event.

Fitting that in order get past '96 and into the endzone, I have to do what that season did and score two warning events in early April. Tall task.

Well for you fine folks up to the north..enjoy 37-39 and low clouds/drizzle/fog Monday. Central and southern folks will be able to get arms hung out windows, laying out for an hour at lunch and break out rakes and leaf blowers on Monday to clean off decks, some dry lawns and driveways..and at least start to get ready for the upcoming hot season
