Ot but driving to Brockton yesterday cutting through the blue hills. On the way I noticed Jamaica Pond solidly frozen with snow cover. Woods and neighborhood shady sides from Boston to Brockton still has deep snow. Looking into blue hill woods suggests another several weeks of cover. Snow otg here 4/1. So there.

BOX says we snow early week

THE 00Z ECMWF AND EVEN A FEW OF THE GEFS ENSEMBLES ARE

MUCH FURTHER SOUTH RESULTING IN A COLD RAIN AND EVEN SOME
ACCUMULATING WET SNOW. WHETHER OR NOT ITS COLD ENOUGH FOR ANY SNOW
REMAINS TO BE SEEN. PROBABLY SMART TO LEAN ON THE COOLER SIDE WITH
TEMPS GIVEN TIME OF YEAR AND HIGH PRESSURE TO THE NORTH.

Still looks like a nice dynamic situation of rain to snow over NNE..esp near PF. That could be a real awesome event.

Awesome runs on the models last night...both the EURO and GGEM had almost 2" of QPF as snow through day 10 in several events up here.

My QPF fetish may get some satiation for the first time since December lol.

March Temps

BDR -5.4

ORH -5.1

PVD -6.3

BDL -5.4

BOS -5.2

PWM -3.3

CON -5.4

GYX -4.8

BVT -4.6

MVL -6.7

Yeah it's been cold. Even last night with 12F here seems warm relative to previous months but that's still very cold for April 1st.

For the second year in a row there were literally no spring slush ski days in the month of March...no sun and 50F days. Not even a sneaky one or two.

Looks like BOX says there's a slim chance for some snow for somebody.

How do you handle these internal struggles?

Snow comes first ..and then if it can't snow..then you just immediately start rooting for warmth and dews..It's rather easy actually.

Well when you claim you flipped like you did a few days ago, and then turn back to cold and snow Kevin, it makes me very concerned about the welfare of your family.

That was when things looked bleak for more snow. Now things look great so winter Kevin has decided to stay on another 7-10 days

They still look pretty bleak...unless you call a slushy coating perhaps at some point somewhere "Great?"  NNE a different story, but not here in SNE.  Go back to spring mode.
