Brian5671
I kid but the entire 95 corridor is a disaster and I avoid it at all costs, thankfully if nightlife and restaurants are needed there are two big casinos off the 95 corridor up here . Anyways you should get a nice welcome to spring snowstorm, brighten the landscape in this the most dreary time of spring. Indeed...we're down to piles here which look pretty gross. Looking forward to this event, but will be happy when all the gunk is gone. A walk around my yard yesterday, I was surprised to see the bulbs well on their way

ORH_wxman
RGEM def has the snow tomorrow morning as well...maybe an inch over eastern areas, but it has that look where someone could get more than that...prob would favor the south shore somewhere. Probably a safe call this season. My early call without looking at a damn thing is jackpot in Bryce's sandbox, with Steve's dog's jumping over his fence and out of the yard. In other news, should be mild near the equator today.

CoastalWx
LOL, well to be fair...I have been quite teased by the snow since the end of Feb Ray..many times just miles away from 2-4" and getting 1". Anyways, it does look like some snow on the NAM and RGEM for a lot of areas in ern MA.

ORH_wxman
How steep is the drop off up this way? it probably gives you between 0.10-0.15...we're not talking massive cutoffs here, but it did show a weenie max down near PYM and Marshfield of course, lol. It's the type of thing though we'll just have to watch because clearly the models haven't handle it well...most of them didnt even have anything tomorrow morning until recently. Ginx snewx
that bridge to the arctic front is slowly building, have to wonder if thats not more robust especially for eastern areas.
CoastalWx
Have Norwell and Marshfield been getting it? Just a bit more than me..probably 3-5" more in total since end of Feb? But I did better on a few storms earlier as well. These are the systems where being further north and east hurt...ORH even beat me twice I believe in those Mickey Mouse events. I agree...we've seen it before when the 5H gets stretched back with a nice ribbon of vorticity. It might not produce much, but it is a setup that can be sneaky good as well (think Dec 20, 2008...or an extreme example is 3/12/05)...I don't expect those results to happen, but it wouldn't shock me if someone lucky gets 3-5" and people are left saying "were'd that come from?" The GFS really blows it up as it exits the Cape. It looks like a mini deformation band as the vectors from 850-700 deform in SE MA. If that were to be correct, I would imagine some areas get a surprise.
