HIPPYVALLEY
The radar hallucinations will be in full force, I already can envision the responses to go along with the HRRR humping Are you still worried about riding home In blinding snow on Saturday? Baroclinic Zone
Hey a nice 1-2 is even good this time of year. Fine with me. It's always nice to enjoy late season snow. 2" is what I'm thinking here. Still like SW CT best.
dryslot
Are you still worried about riding home In blinding snow on Saturday? Ha, Never thought it was blinding, Not with whats being modeled, Even if there is some moisture from the developing low offshore it looks light and it would be on the drive back, Did you cancel your plans for Saturday? Quincy
Usually once the RGEM starts trending inside of 36 hours, the envelope can be sealed...but yeah, I'll see if maybe it was a rare burp run. Funny how the NAM never bit...probably the only coup it scored all year in what was another disastrous winter for that model (which has really become the norm anyway in the past 5-7 years). The mildly infuriating part about this system is the shortwave looks decent out in the plains and then is deamplifies in a non-obvious manner. When the NAM doesn't show an amped NW solution like the GFS, that's one of our many red flags. In RGEM we trust.
ORH_wxman
so after the RGEM and Ukie jump on board for Saturday morning...Euro completely takes it away. Euro is pretty paltry on the front side...like the RGEM mostly. But unlike the RGEM, no Saturday morning redevelopment.
Sugarloaf1989
Latest NWS forecast for Enfield: Friday: light to moderate virga in the morning. I don't think parallel is out yet The OP at 00z was much better too..esp that it did what he Ukie did and redeveloped a lot of precip late in the game. But the 12z run took ti away. WinterWolf
Euro is so fickle this year...wow, I hope the parallel is better and gets it's mojo back, cuz that model can't keep any continuity this year.

And I was under the assumption the parallel is only available once a day at 00z but I could be wrong.
