Combined with the other 2 enroute CME's, there should be some pretty great auroras behind the clouds the next few nights. Face of the sun reminds me 2001 again. Lot of big active spots. Nothing imminent, ...however, X1.9 class flare exploded from AR3181 yesterday (9th), and though no CME expulsion took place ( as well, it is escaping the eastern limb) there are two that have arrived over the western limb recently. Expand I slept through it but clouds broke enough for a friend to capture them over Newfound Lake. Camera's are always take longer exposures than the eye so they look more dramatic. I saw them once, I think 2003 and it was beautiful. Still a total solar eclipse is the most spectacular experience.
