UlsterCountySnowZ
It's been good also with the northern gradient. Continues to show no preciep into Boston. Nailed that for March 5th Yea I think the nam has done very well with many storms this year, especially outside it's "wheelhouse" (48+hrs) and it's gone un-noticed mostly cause it's bad rap as a terrible mid/long range model, Again i do think it has some catching up to do in regards to the northern extent of the precip on this upcoming storm... I'll take GFS/EURO/GGEM any day
MJO812
Near 6 inches for Philly. Looks like 3-6 for NYC on the Nam.
IsentropicLift
Near 6 inches for Philly. Looks like 3-6 for NYC on the Nam.I wouldn't expect more than 4 north of Rt. 78. Even 0.50" @ 10:1 is only 5" and ratios will be closer to 8:1.
UlsterCountySnowZ
Took me till just now discussing daylight savings to realize why wxbell model outputs have been sooooo "slow"... I forgot they don't change with daylight savings lmao, 9pm nam is 10pm nam now lol Thought I was going crazy

donsutherland1
Totally agree (good call) That's the RGEM figures. They do appear fairly reasonable at this point in time, but some adjustments will probably occur in subsequent runs, as the event is still at the latter part of the RGEM's range. BxWeatherwatcher
well a 3-6 inch snowfall is likely across the metro area per all current model outputs, also trended much colder at the surface so things are progressing positively for us in terms of more snow less rain, still have some time to fine tune the details obviously. Rtd208
Winter Weather Advisory up for my area from 6:00 am until 8:00 pm Friday for 1-3" of snow. I think amounts will be a bit higher then that IMO. They also mention portions of the area covered under the advisory will mix with and change over to rain.
