radarman
lol of course I believe you, I am a pic hoHere you go ginxy. Certainly not the most picturesque time of year but I said I'd take some. Right in the center of that open area And in the deeper spots that get less sun... my tape stopped on a layer of ice at the bottom here so this is actually a slight underestimate. Hopefully this post gets me my second weenie of the day.

HoarfrostHubb
Maybe where you live. My lawn is ready to go for lawn cleanup. Just a little wet in some spots where drainage is not optimal. We were at my brother in law's house on Sunday in Taunton. His lawn was devoid of snow and was pretty dry. No mudDisaster looming here...lol
HoarfrostHubb
As it melts all these branches are appearing..lol. I guess squirrels snap off branches for whatever reason because I have tons of small branches from this Spruce tree in my back yard.Branches are better than what is melting out of my pack
WhitinsvilleWX
I have 15 years of data that shows they bloom after about 21 days averaging above freezing temps. That's why they bloomed so early in 2012 and so late last year. A couple of days isn't going to do it. That's probalby pretty close to right. Forsythia need a soil temp of around 55 degrees to bloom. One day at 60 won't do it. Fisher needs his Twitter account suspended.

CoastalWx
What did you do outside to enjoy it and take advantage of it? Mud season applies to the time of year too....not just if you had snow OTG. April can be a damp month...it was always muddy growing up as a kid. Maybe Taunton is magical.

My yard is not mud. Soft in a couple areas that don't drain too well but it's pretty firm all around. No issues walking on it.
