S&P
90% of Watuppa Pond in Fall River is still frozen. I'm not sure how still, but that is impressive. This is not a small pond either. saw that yesterday, maybe because it is so large it remains colder (more energy required to warm the water)?, also because its a public water supply don't they have restrictions about what can flow into it. CT Rain
Damn looks like an epic week for NNE ski areas. Could be. I'm done with skiing this year... Hope others can enjoy it though. I'm heading to Italy next Saturday... Would be nice to get some ridging over Central Europe (or I'll even take an EML/supercell look)

Being so far north, synoptics really help kick it in.

Maybe we are different but that is the last thing I would want. Sunny skies and warm temps would be my cup of tea.

Damage In Tolland
sucks for softball. And outdoor soccer. Adding more snow next week in SNE will just delay things farther..but we knew it would happen so can't really be surprised. Few more weeks and then we can get out there
