90% of Watuppa Pond in Fall River is still frozen. I'm not sure how still, but that is impressive. This is not a small pond either.

saw that yesterday, maybe because it is so large it remains colder (more energy required to warm the water)?, also because its a public water supply don't they have restrictions about what can flow into it.

Damn looks like an epic week for NNE ski areas.

Could be. I'm done with skiing this year... Hope others can enjoy it though. I'm heading to Italy next Saturday... Would be nice to get some ridging over Central Europe (or I'll even take an EML/supercell look)

Europe gets severe with 850 temps of like 0C...lol. Being so far north, synoptics really help kick it in.

Have fun, who would want severe while on vacation? Maybe we are different but that is the last thing I would want. Sunny skies and warm temps would be my cup of tea.

Well it's not a beach vacation. I can enjoy a supercell while eating my way through Tuscany.

And outdoor soccer. Adding more snow next week in SNE will just delay things farther..but we knew it would happen so can't really be surprised. Few more weeks and then we can get out there

not really seeing any sig snow , anything that falls will melt within 24 hrs anyways and wash away, rainy dreary period incoming.

GFS Bufkit prints out 4.7 for ORH but then rains it away, like I said anything that falls washes away, it April and its gone.

There's a low prob it could be quite a bit more wintry. Kind of like April 2003. Days of sleet/snow.
