Lol. Both packs are probably full of water. NOHRSC has it pretty close now but probably a shade more liquid in parts of the SE MA pack. The highest LE in SNE is now ORH county and the northern Berkshires.

Yeah it's the same. Both have lots of water and refreeze in it. No difference. All that OES snow was like LES too

Do they average as much as BOS? These crazy weenie years must skew the average up a bit.

There were years like '10/'11 where they got less than BOS, but a more wet snow. I would say probably just less? But very variant. However, I've been here long enough to know cold air over that ocean means fun. This is in NW Marshfield which means a lot. There can be rain at the beach and snow here. This is near the Norwell/Pembroke line.

Also how you keep the daytime highs so much lower with the trees..that and elevation

The snow from a couple of days ago has barely melted here on the north facing side of the house. It was still crunchy when I came back in earlier this afternoon near the time of peak heating.

I hear them often on my early morning runs..Sometimes very close..just terrifying shrieks and yowls..and it freaks the hell out of me. I know they typically don't bother humans..but I really do worry about being attacked by a pack of them..Especially in the winter with deep snow like we have

yeah I don't like coyotes at all.  I would be especially afraid now b/c they are probably not in a very good mood and extremely hungry so the likelihood of attacking humans could be high.

When I used to live at my aunts/grandparents I used to see a quit a bit of foxes late at night...those used to freak me out.

I was walking home from work one night like a week or so ago and all of a sudden a skunk walks out about 15' in front of me.  I just stopped and went into the road.  Luckily it went back where it came from.  Several days after that I was at work at night outside and I saw a family (3 of them) of fury little creatures walking across the street but I couldn't make out what they were.  Might have been possums.

I still can't believe how much snow is down in the wooded parts of the south shore. It's like January at my parents. Still snow from yesterday. It doesn't have anything close to that late season melt look. I can't believe this. It has that snow covered look over the logs/ fallen trees etc...that mid winter look I'm sure some can understand.

Pretty sweet.  The snow preservation has been impressive this season.  Even if we end a tick below normal in snowfall up here, we've had consistent snow cover since the lake effect bands of mid-November.  What you guys have had is incredible...

I mean look at those pics. They probably don't do it justice either. For March 22? Ridiculous.
