They can, but the chance are much higher late summer and early fall.

 

Just like a tornado outbreak can happen in any month, but are much more likely April through June.

I will say, this pattern the last two winters is awful for severe weather.

 

Big ridge out west and trough in the east definitely shuts the door on the Gulf supplying any appreciable moisture.

This is bull****...we can't get crap. I mean everything that can go wrong just goes wrong and its all stupid stupid stupid. I mean WTF...just can't go along anymore with just one good storm, if that out of 365 fooking ***hole piece of crap days. It sucks and it's not worth it...it's awful and it sucks beyond suck can suck
