hammerz_nailz
74/52 is May and September wx. That's awful for JJA I think 74/52 is San Francisco area for a good portion of the year. Almost perfect.
Hazey
Just browsing through some of our local climatology stats and noticed that the late 60's and especially early 70's had some darn cold springs. Halifax airport had 27cms(11") of snow fall on May 10,1972. The height of the storm occurred in the afternoon between 11am and 5pm and the temp did not get above -1c. Yikes

CapturedNature
So we're judging by a weather board filled with cold, winter weather fanatics who wish it would year round? LOL..of course it's skewed If I recall, at some point in the past 4 billion times that this top has come up that links to public forums that have nothing to do with weather showing that people prefer low humidity over high "dews". In fact, check out this non-weather board poll, but please, don't let facts get in your way: http://www.city-data.com/forum/weather/1609899-whats-more-comfortable-low-humidity-high.html The best part is that this poll isn't even region specific so it can't be said that only people from New England prefer low humidity. CapturedNature
Did some gardening today. Only another foot left to melt from the backyard. DSCN8629.JPG lol...I've been tied up going into my office the past couple of days but I think we are down to a few well protected patches. I'm wondering how long the municipal piles are going to last but it's amazing that we still have anything hanging around. If it wasn't for December and January, we would have had a really nice long period with snow on the ground.
Damage In Tolland
First 80 degree readings on Saturday in the typical torch spots? At least 75-78 seems likely.
N. OF PIKE
I met a few folks who legit loved the heat/humidity and being Outside in it. I questioned them thoroughly and they really did enjoy being outside in it. For one he said it felt better on his joints.
40/70 Benchmark
Still tall bankings in the parking lot here on VA campus where the national guard was camped out for a few weeks after epicosity. I think they used it as a bit of a snowdump of sorts. They will last until May. First for me down this way.
CoastalWx
Well as of yesterday, still snow in the back yard of my parents. I saw pics of Hubbardston with about 8" in the yard.
dendrite
Only snow left here is in the protected shaded areas. Those will be gone by the weekend too. 30.1F this am, but most spots got into the 20s.
CoastalWx
Nothing beats these sunny days though. Really nice to have during the worst month of the year. Like getting a cold tuck in January while Tolland is torching.

This time of year can be so dismal in a wet pattern. Moreso back to reality next week.

tamarack
Low 20s here this morning, saw 19 for BML. Down to 6" at the stake, will have only "T" by either tomorrow afternoon or Saturday. Had a turkey gobble nearby yesterday morning, first I've heard this year, and the barred owls are calling over and over.

ORH_wxman
Jealous of the N/C Rockies in Colroado right now...storm is just getting underway. They could see 4 feet of snow in the next 2+ days. Gotta love how it's like 33F in DEN but then once you get to like 12,000 feet due west, the temp is 12F, lol:

That would also help any TS get up here if we had blocking
