Well what's the difference between that and wasting time tweeting and doing fantasy? Being mobile also makes it easier.

Right, no difference. Only said it because I get the evil eye for just lurking most of the time.  Like you said, being mobile makes it easier too, she really doesn't know how much I really lurk.  Ha

Mine figured out pretty quickly what the forum looks like on mobile, haha.  "C'mon we are going to be late, you just got off the laptop and now have your phone out."  It gets pretty addicting during weather events.  Since like mid-February it hasn't been as much of an issue haha.

I wonder what their maximum snow depth was over the course...  That's just over 12.5 feet ...FEET of snow.   I think it shows just how difficult pack maintenance is.   Blue Hill is not a tall feature, not really... It's really just a tall spot on the coastal plain.  It only underscores both that seasonal total, but how hard it must be to sustain major depths.  If it's not melting out right, it's sublimating and settling.

Interesting.

46" max depth per the observers.

Well for this area, the pack was tenacious and still snow in yards. It's all about the water content. We will always bust into warm sectors while places in CNE CAD country won't which will limit snow pack duration, but as we saw this year...all about the bass.

I'm just waiting on green up on the lawn now, Hope to get some time cleaning it up too this weekend. Should have time.

Last year it was well on it's way. My front and side are fine. Just a few smaller piles. Back has larger patches. But protected areas are gonna need some time. Tenacious stuff.

I was noticing that some of the south facing lawns that were first clear of snow a couple of weeks ago are starting to green up.  It's amazing how quickly nature responds.

Yeah, and a few consecutive days in the 60s will really do wonders.  We should see a marked improvement in 7 days,

Oh man that's awful, Has it dried out at least?

Parents are in FL. We rarely use our back staircase. Found out that Dad didn't listen when I said hire someone to clean off the roof.... Unfortunately.

It's a spiral staircase so this is all on one side of the back of the house. One of the few places we luckily did not renovate in our major renovations three years ago.

Lysol should do the trick, and fix the whole problem.

just cold dreary and wet...had maybe a 10min pelt fest yesterday at the onset of precip...but other than that, just a cold rain...

OT...but a big OOPS!!!

Bristol Superior Court Judge E. Susan Garsh said two jurors reported that a van from WHDH-TV was observing jurors as they got into their vehicles outside the courthouse and tried to follow them. One juror, Garsh said, did a U-turn and took down the van’s license plate.

“This is an extraordinarily serious matter,” Garsh said from the bench, adding that any form of “juror harassment” is prohibited while the case is pending.

Yikes.

That's bad.

Anything for the story, even if it means breaking the law.
