dailylurker
I hardly ever see any discussion about the rain. I've always liked rain. It's just another part of weather that I enjoy. So, feel free to discuss the rain here. You love rain You hate rain Hey, look, flooding rain Any and all rain talk is welcome. EXCEPT thunderstorm rain. This trend is for rainy day type rain ONLY. dailylurker
Looks like we may end up with nearly a inch of rain from this one. I wouldn't mind a little flooding action. The mud should be off the charts by tomorrow.
Sparky
I don't mind a good rain.
jnis
I usually like rain and above average precipitation, but the soil around my foundation is saturated. My basement will likely flood tomorrow as moisture has already seeped through the foundation. I'm noticing the radar is showing a bit of a split in the precip shield over central MD - I hope that continues.
wxdude64
Rain? Rain? You want to talk rain? 2.53 here since first of March 1 (rain and melted snow) 6.16 since first of Feb. (ditto) and it is raining now. The lake north of here has gone from 20 feet below normal to 6 foot above in last 45 days, 80 % of that climb in last 10 days. CAPE
Its rained a lot this winter. 33 and rain, mild rain, freezing rain. Had 5 inches of rain in January alone. Kinda sick of rain. Give me 2 weeks with zero rain.

snowfan
Rain is cool if we need it or if it's from a thunderstorm. We definitely do not need rain right now.

Kay
The inspiration for "Rain" is agreed on by Neil Aspinall, the Beatles' roadie, and John Lennon. They both described the band's arrival in Melbourne, Australia, marked by rain and poor weather.[6] Lennon said, "I've never seen rain as hard as that, except in Tahiti", and later explained that "Rain" was "about people moaning about the weather all the time".[7]

dailylurker
Time to bump the rain trend. Looking cloudy, cool and damp for the next couple days. Doesn't bother me. I like a good dreary day or two every once in a while.

dailylurker
Welp. Storm is going OTS. We do have rain. Anyone want to talk rain. Raining steadily with 1.30" in the bucket since yesterday. Radar looks socked in. I'm loving this weather.
gopper
"Rain, rain, go away...come again some other day!" Actually, I rather enjoy a good rain! Give me some heavy flooding rain, and I will be out looking for flooded streams! The best rains are the fast thunder storm warm rains because you can run around in them and get soaked in seconds. I really don't like the autumn rains that seem to last weeks on end, providing lots of dreariness, but little excitement! Winter rains just sort of make me angry at lost opportunity for snow. dailylurker
A summertime steady heavy drizzle walk is a wonderful thing. For some reason. I've always loved rain (not during snow events). I guess it's the vibe you get during a good steady rain. Waiting for this rain is like watching paint dry lol.
