12z gfs has AUG/WVL getting about 2" of wet snow (assuming it can accum with light rates and 31-32F March sun angle), then 6+ hr of slop Sat PM, followed by 4-5" from the developing coastal.  RUM might stay all snow, which would be warning criteria (8"+) if it all came within 24 hr.   Also, Tuesday's little event has temporarily dissappeared.  Could be lots worse.  Might be my biggest snowfall since Jan.

Hi guys - need help! My family is visiting, and they wanted to try night skiing, so I was thinking of taking them to Shawnee Peak tomorrow afternoon/eve. GYX seems to think rain is likely there... what do you guys think? Should I be rethinking the plan? Wouldn't be very nice to make them ski in the rain... :)

You could go to Sunday River, the NWS has Sunday River as all snow. They have some night skiing there with the Chondola.

It seems that whatever the setup, we've ended up with a coating to 2" from the last several systems. Why stop now? Glad I'll get to see some real snow up at SR.

You going to SR tomorrow or sun? Trying to decide, but looks like frz rain tomorrow morning. Not a big fan of skiing in the snow, so maybe wait till next wknd.
