moneypitmike
Yes..Will told you yesterday..Only far south coast might tickle 40 We'll know soon enough how things play out. Here's the map as it stands at 10:00a.m. Since the sun glare issue that was raised earlier in the week is not an issue here, this should be pretty representative. Meanwhile, precip has been much lighter than I had anticipated so far.

NorEastermass128
It is?Lol. GFS delayed it a day, but it was a major hit verbatim. Didn't see what other guidance showed though. It's a D7 threat too to keep in mind.

CoastalWx
Ok I stand by my thoughts. I think KFIT is a good representative station. I bet it hits 40 Unless they dried out and skies brightened this aftn. But, -RA and NE winds should keep them in the 30s I think. Like it means much though..lol. Just a raw and classic sh*t March day.

CoastalWx
Ops lost it Signal for something is there, about all you can say this far out. 6z gfs has something. If we get it, great. If not, oh well. That time of year.
Ginx snewx
Sick it sucks but better this weekend than next. Sunday looks pretty snowy with ULL snow, probably not accumulating on roads although EMA might get a surprise. Mud season does suck. The snow looks neat with all the rivelets waves from the melt underneath. Still at 18 depth. Good day to watch seasons of Netflix series.
dryslot
Dryslot, Is it looking like 6 inches in L/A? May have to cancel trip to Bates this weekend. Right around that number
tamarack
As has been the pattern, gfs begins to lose qpf as the event draws near. Yesterday's 0.7-0.8" for our area is 0.5" on 06z. GYX calling for 6-10", most coming 8P today thru 2P tomorrow, so other guidance must be juicier.
moneypitmike
Looking at the radar, it appears the season of a qpf-screwing of NW Mass will continue. Not a bad system for that to be happening. Not really doing anything at the moment in GC.

Not up here it's not--we're getting diddly, just some thin fog with nothing of note in the upstream radar. P/C is calling for 100% chance of rain. 30.2/

moneypitmike
Snowy Sunday Nice looking depiction. Looks like it's busting here today though. It's showing more than .25" here after 8:00a.m. this morning. I'm guessing a couple hundredths so far. Perhaps we'll get some picking up later though. 30.3/
