shaggy
Hoping that stuff down in duplin county gains some organization. The Wilson cell is just to far to go after for what doesn't appear to be a sure thing.
downeastnc
If anything there is to many discrete cells firing and this will likely prevent any one from getting to organized, still the leading edge storms could have room and that Wilson cell which looks to be trying to rotate down near Kenly now but
Hvward
Cell NE of Newton Grove showing a hint of rotation also. Lots of lightning on it atm and so decent structure.

That one is looking better but there is a storm to its south about to merge with it, if that wasn't there I bet it would get a strong couplet. Yeah looks like they merged. Lets see if it can keep it together.
Brick Tamland
Funny how when there are a lot of cells and cells that could merge that it makes them less of a tornado threat instead of more of one. I guess the storms rob each other of the power.

shaggy
The storms or Johnston County? The storms. Too multicellular for anything to get too organized. The line down by fayetteville looks solid but should miss me south if it stays due east.
downeastnc
Decent couplet coming into Pitt Co could be very near Farmville in a few minutes.......but its merging if it had gone or manages to persist it will be headed for Greenville.
Solak
The storms or Johnston County? Hey now!!! Looks like we're going to miss out on things today. There's some good winds with the storms down in Cumberland Co. Nothing back to the W or SW. The 'Wilson' storm fired up about 1/2 mile to the NE of here, so we missed that one, too. Looks like next chance is in a week.

Not too impressive but it is headed straight for the house so I won't have to go anywhere to get this storm.
downeastnc
Just about every storm tries to rotate if it hadn't been so clustered and had cells choking each other off today would have seen a few tornados for sure...

ENVIRONMENT AHEAD OF THIS BOUNDARY WILL REMAIN UNSTABLE AS LOW-LEVEL MOISTURE CONTINUES TO ADVECT NWWD INTO THE REGION. DEWPOINT AT THE DPL HAS INCREASED FROM 68 TO 71 DEG F WITH A SIMILAR TREND NOTED AT ISO. AS SUCH...TSTM ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE AHEAD OF THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY WITH SOME INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY POSSIBLE. PRIMARY SEVERE THREAT IS DAMAGING DOWNBURST WINDS WITH SOME ISOLATED SEVERE HAIL ALSO POSSIBLE. ..MOSIER.. 05/21/2015

shaggy
Had to head to Farmville on 264 to pick up my stepson from school at the height of the storm. Average thunderstorm winds around 30-40mph and just torrential rains. Dopplar showing over an inch in just 30 minutes and I believe it. Roads had tons of standing water and the car actually had a hard time gaining speed due to poor traction.
Hvward
Not too impressed with the current warned cells. The cell in the best environment currently is just east of Bolton or south of Arcadia heading towards Sandy Creek, NC. Could see a warning on that one at some point. downeastnc
Apparently Washington is under a tornado warning Some weak rotation new Washington but nothing with a warning on it, best looking couplet outside of the Bolton one near ILM is the one near Vanceboro......that may produce eventually and affect southern Beaufort Co.
