Ji
I hate spring. I'd much rather be in summer so we can be on our way to winter. This is the worst time of the year for me. I need more snow and clouds

wxdude64
Lol at ppl that hate windows open weather and flowers. I'd like maybe a month or two of that max, then return to winter, I think that is a very realistic idea. Need the warmer break to cut wood for the next season. Lowershoresadness
I love spring! March madness, flowers, tax returns, rebirth, rejuvenation. Bees scare me though. I have not been stung since Aug 15, 1994. I must keep this streak alive
mitchnick
Lol at ppl that hate windows open weather and flowers. I don't hate it. In fact, I love going down to Williamsburg in the spring once it warms up. They really do a great job with the flowers, landscaping, etc. I just find certain pollen uncomfortable, namely, oak trees. Once June hits, the pollen issue is over for me, though I know that's not the case for some.

Not me...if it was up to me, it would be winter from late October to May at least. Spring in June, summer in July and early August, fall from late August to late October. WinterWxLuvr
I'd like to have DEC 15-FEB 15, 3 times per year = 6 months. I'd like May 3 times, and October 3 times for the other 6 months.

mattie g
Why do people complain so much about allergies? Allergy season is like a month long, at worst. Take some Claritin or get a steroid shot and you'll be fine. I'd much rather deal with allergies that can be kept under control than with cold and flu and stomach sick season. Christ... snowfan
In what way? Wet? About 50% of the monthly rainfall fell on one day, so there was one soaker in there. DCA had 5 days with highs in the 60s, 11 days with highs in the 70s, 12 days with highs in the 80s and 2 in the 90s. Lows were comfortable. Avg temp was in the mid-60s. May was miserable last year. PrinceFrederickWx
February-May is the best time period- you go from peak snow climo in February, then March can be pretty much anything, then April and May are great spring weather. I'd prefer to be in a coma through June-August every year though. Wake me in September.
StudentOfClimatology
I love every season..that's one of the reasons I'm still living here. I'll never understand why people hate summer, either. Yeah it's muggy, but we're also treated to thunderstorm activity, barbecues, nights filled with the sound of crickets and cicadas, and the smell of gun powder on the eve of the 4th. I love it.
