Thinking the same, other then the same few locations who have gotten hit several times, pretty tame elsewhere.

Today, once cells get N/NE of me, they really explode. Like that cell that just passed. I bet by now it's dropping quarter-sized hail.

yeah, ive noticed that too. Not sure why, parameters are pretty good all around. Cloudier north than down here too.

Those storms are all forming on the line that had the one cell that formed sw of me, then go severe beyond you earlier today.

Severe warned storm from earlier that moved from AA Co. across the Patapsco into SE Balt Co. Pic taken at Ft. Armistead Park. First came across the cell near Gambrills along 170/3 and it had decent T/L. Didn't see much in the way of lightning on the back side from the vantage point below.

Fairly active day here, although sadly I've been unable to track weather/warnings much. Just rain and rumbles in this batch moving out but in earlier rounds had several disconcertingly close lightning strikes and bendy trees.
