Beautiful out here. Sitting outside enjoying a nice 4/20 lightning show. Feels like a summer night. Really enjoying the first storm of the season. Enjoy!

Close to marble size hail here in Spotsy, over an inch of rain and good wind......lots of lightning too

I was watching the velocities and watched it pop up and get going for about 5 minutes. It was just to my west. I have a great screen grab of it. Wish I could post it.

I had quoted that because marble-sized can mean different sizes, since marbles are different sizes. However, I went back and double-checked the SPC definitions, and it does have marble for 0.5", so my bad. Some NWS WFOs don't like it when people report marble-sized, though.

Yeah we has a 'falling out' over something similar. Some mets are the worst when it comes to accurately identifying stuff.

Really? Lol I just had a 57 MPH (not 58 ) gust and was getting legit hail (less than 1") with crazy lightning.

  HRRR brings another batch through, and radar is starting to light up again to the west and southwest.    Seems like atmosphere should be worked over, but better forcing is arriving.

He says he has video, so we'll see. That storm was pretty impressive and stuff along the bay likes to accident into something.. the other was crap but it's possible it did something over water I guess.
