Baroclinic Zone
Yeah this is awesome stuff. The winter that just doesn't want to end. These 3-4" storms every few days really start padding the numbers, How much you have there on the season?
CoastalWx
NW winds up through almost 7000'. If you are near the nrn edge..you may get a little drift from echoes the radar is seeing vs what is falling. However since the line isn't far from BOX...what is falling on radar in SE MA probably isn't off from actual ground truth.

rnaude241
It's still coming down pretty good here in East Taunton, I'd say 3+
CoastalWx
It's doing nothing here in Wrentham. Yeah even the higher tilts have nothing there. Tough to get a lot of snow with NW winds past 800mb unless you have strong H7-H5 frontogenesis which is what the south coast has.
Ginx snewx
2.5 New moderate snow
TalcottWx
Cool to see on the higher tilts it's actually snowing but the nw winds are pushing all the precip to our south. That combined with the dry air.
Ginx snewx
Those KY totals are insane but that's what happens under that kind of forcing

Baroclinic Zone
It's still coming down pretty good here in East Taunton, I'd say 3+ DP starting to really eat away at these echoes. Down to 20F now. See if we can hold on to light/moderate snow for a few more hours.
Cold Miser
Hopefully you get an EF4 to rip your house off the foundation in June. That would be the ultimate mother nature FU.
CoastalWx
The meso models actually did a fairly decent job yesterday too. Not just the HRRR either. The RAP in the beginning was bullish, but the WRF NMM and ARW was pretty good in the depiction. Sometimes they have benefits in non-cyclogenesis situations. Cold Miser
Just a few flurries now after 1.5. Looks like I will be at 95" for the year for a while if not to close out the season. Been an amazing past few weeks and beyond.
