OceanStWx
I just went outside and stared, God It's just become part of the landscape now. Since 1/27 PWM has had > 16 inches on the ground every day. GYX > 22 I can't find many months that have AVERAGED 20+ inches snow depth at PWM, but February was one of them.

Quincy
Snowfall totals around Connecticut for this event. Very little NW of I-84, more to the south and east. Middlesex and New London counties were in the jackpot:

ariof
I was just continually amazed (kind of bummed, but I need to start training for Boston, and running in snowbanks is hard; perhaps the first time I was conflicted about missing out on snow) at the echoes overrunning most of SNE, with the low levels so dry that nothing made it down. I pulled the upper air plots for CHH, GYX, OKX and ALB and it tells the story: the layer of very dry air is absent on the southern stations where it snowed a foot. But at OKX and GYX there was saturation down to H5, but below that it was dry, with very low DPs. ALB is particularly impressive: saturated from H5 to below H7, then DPs of -40 around H8! And DPs at BOS just crashed all day, while it was snowing to beat the band 20 miles south. I don't blame the mets for busts; this was a sharp cutoff and not modeled well at all. OKX: ALB: CHH: GYX:
