The 4 Seasons
if we get any more from the back building in pa we will go to perhaps 7. there seems to be a hole in the precip then fills behind! we shall see!!! Congrats, you guys deserve it. I feel for you all winter when you flip over to sleet and rain first and almost always have the lowest totals when there is any mixing going on. 7 out of 10 times you'll look at an accumulation map and there it is <2", 1-3", 1-2" over SE CT while the rest of the state is getting hammered with advisory and warning snows. codfishsnowman
Zilch here. Not the first time this winter being on the outside looking in. The SWFE Redeveloper (15") was actually the best storm this winter here. But still with 63.5", I can;t complain. Enjoy, all you peeps SE of here. This was your winter Wow sounds low, what did you record for the blizzard? I'd figure you'd be over

ORH_wxman
The dry air pushing south clearly visible on radar over E MA is probably helping that band on the south shore...strengthening the lift as the dry arctic air gives a solid wall/slope for the moisture to just push up against and rise. Mr. Windcredible!
5.1" here. Not too shabby. Looks like we'll still have some light snow through the afternoon as expected...but think we'll probably fall short of 6".
bristolri_wx
Over 6" here. Back to moderate snow. Big fluffy flakes now. It had died down for about an hour or so before it heavier. Shoveled the driveway twice, 3" each time. Second batch was much lighter though. This storm is turning out exactly how I thought it would from HFD/PVD/TAN south and east... The 4 Seasons
2.0" Total, much less than I expected there to be out there. Doesn't seem right with all the steady accumulating snow weve had last night and all morning. At this rate I wont even need to shovel as the driveway already has black patches showing up

CoastalWx
I was thinking 4"-5", but we're doubling it. That's certainly event worthy and there was an upside there with the good mid level frontogenesis.

SouthCoastMA
That's certainly event worthy and there was an upside there with the good mid level frontogenesis.right. maybe non-event for those within 20-30 miles of the pike. I thought the 'waving flags in both hands on the runway' crowd pretty much nailed it around Boston and surrounding areas, with regards to the dry air.
