...A DEVELOPING BAND OF HEAVY SNOW ACROSS THE AREA...

AS OF 750 AM, NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR AND SURFACE

OBSERVATIONS INDICATED A DEVELOPING BAND OF HEAVIER SNOW. THIS WAS

LOCATED FROM CHESTER COUNTY NORTHEASTWARD ACROSS MUCH OF

MONTGOMERY AND BUCKS COUNTIES, THEN TOWARD MERCER AND MIDDLESEX

COUNTIES.

THE SNOWFALL RATES ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE TO ABOUT AN INCH PER

HOUR WITHIN THIS BAND OF HEAVIER SNOW, WHICH WILL REDUCE THE

VISIBILITIES TO ONE HALF MILE OR LESS. THE COMBINATION OF

INCREASING SNOWFALL RATES AND TEMPERATURES FALLING BELOW FREEZING

WILL RESULT IN DETERIORATING ROAD CONDITIONS.

IF YOU MUST TRAVEL, SLOW DOWN AND LEAVE PLENTY OF EXTRA TIME TO

REACH YOUR DESTINATION. USE EXTRA CAUTION ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES

AND OTHER ELEVATED SURFACES AS THEY TEND TO FREEZE UP FIRST.

Very nice rate of Snow now...for 1nce a little overachiever up here...went from drizzle and 36 about midnight to all out 1+ or more for about 2-1/2,then just back to our normal for the last 2 yrs (19dgs.),but in the last hour has kicked back up....eveverything is plastered white and the Total Snow cover is back to where it was before yesterday...about 16otg...we've now passed the 3" mark.... just wish the great creator would have given me some pic.skills and then to transfer....saved the best shots for last,I guess...

I am under some of that in NW Philly and it is absolutely puking snow now. We are up over 3" now. Getting near pancake-sized flakes too. Temp is 31.4 and slowly dropping.

3 inches? Sounds like you should be winding down right about now...

Mod to heavy snow in concord township...
