PhineasC
I am quite satisfied. Not very common to go from driving 45 degree rain to blowing powder in one storm.
Wonderdog
6.25 is my final call. Hard to get an accurate measurement in my yard. Two nice daytime snowstorms in the last couple of weeks. Doesn't get any better than that.

gymengineer
heh, back to legit -sn 2 storms over 6", another two 3-4", record cold.... Bob Chill
Bob, I cleared my board @ 12.00pm. My official total so far : 7.2" That sounds about right. The second half was really nice light ratio stuff. I shoveled at 2:30 and have 2.5" on the drive and walk that I could probably get rid of with a leaf blower. I'm thinking this winter and last was the best two year stretch since 66/67 and 67/68. Single most amazing part of this winter. I wonder when the last triple climo+ winters was... heh... We got about 6-7" in the Veterans Day storm, but did have two nice January snows (one of them was warm in DC). We were close to climo that season.Edited to add: Many of the suburbs, though, were above climo for 92/93 and 93/94.
nj2va
Some of the neighbors' trees look like cherry blossom trees! These are down the street from me - not sure what they are but they are my favorites in the neighborhood. There are some cherries in the background though! Take that out and the winter sucked. D&F were T months. Jan was ok with 13". 86-87 was awesome. Last 2 years remind me of that year.
jnis
Man I love snow storms that end cold and remain cloudy with occasional flurries; and the sound of snowblowers and scraping echoing through the neighborhood. What a nice desert to cap off what has turned out to be a very tasty winter!
