WeSuck
Hope you get in on the action too! YOUR SNOW IS A RIPPING AS MY TEMP DOWN HERE IN NORFOLK IS A DIPPING. Waiting on this hours update, but at 10:51 temp was 35.1 and dew point at 33.1 at Norfolk International airport down here with cold moderate rain. Freezing rain could be in cards soon here. NOOOOO! before being saved by sleet and then snow. Lost 5+ degrees in last few hours.
DDweatherman
Living in Leesburg sounds awful Still coming down nicely here even though the main band is a bit south now. Hopefully some more banding pops up in the MoCo zone again. looking good for that, as folks in S PA are getting 1-2"/hr rates currently.

mattie g
It is really freaking bright out there. Not a killer but roads are not super terrible really. #sunangleseason eta: to be clear, my side roads are totally covered but there are tracks that are slushy/wet.. just an ob. Yup - mentioned it earlier. It's incredibly bright, even under those really good returns. My street is totally covered, and even the secondary roads out here are snow/slush. I think there's some SAS effect, but it's still piling up OK. The snow is really dense, though.

Moderate to heavy snow in W Springfield for the last hour plus. From other reports it sounds like we're on the right side of the line by not very much. Including the sleet layer, 2.125 - 2.25 IMBY.
