87storms
coming down nice here...that said, pretty obvious that the storm is moving at a good clip as well, so i guess that could keep many from being in the 6-10" range. duration looks like our only enemy at this point. overall, a good late season storm. Stormpc
1.0. Yay! Flake size small and icy. Banding developing, or rather, extending down from the usual central Maryland locations now down thru central Fauquier and Culpeper. It's slipping east. DC about to get a much deserved rogering. Ji
IAD has reported 2.2" snow so far. That surpasses that site's daily record or March 5 of 1.0" from 2001. a little jab in there?

Kmlwx
Looking at a few traffic cameras - main heavily traveled roads don't look terrible but they are slushy/snowy for sure. Our road here is completely snow covered.

weatherwonder
I heard on WBAL that if AA co receives more than 8 inches there is going to be trouble because they only have 25% salt left to treat surfaces. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Jebman
Steady small flakes but they are falling very thickly and they are piling up. Lawns are white again as though we never even had a warmup with rain lol! Eyeballing a couple of inches

WEATHER53
stunning. I was never big on lengthy sleet, my 3am prediction for changeover was too early but by 6/7 it was underway and the sleet component was not much more than one hour. I want to now see if I will be down to 25 at 1pm.

Random Chaos
All are helpful Wish I could report snow as I am a spotter, but I get such crazy drifting normally that I don't even try. Last storm we had I had bare patches next to 8-12" drifts, and no where on my entire property was it not drifted. During Snomaggeddon I had 5' drifts next to 4" valleys, and carved 6-12" wide canyons through the snow 1-2 feet deep and strait walled. It was crazy. Bob Chill
Looking forward to the dc/arlington reports coming up shortly. It's been a steady rip for almost an hour. There's a delay between yellows overhead and fatties on the ground. Takes time for flakes to fall. lol
