BTRWx
Really nice pocket of heavy snow north of CHO headed our way! It looks like there could be more popups before that arrives.
Scraff
Is he here? That would mean a bust is inbound. I believe he is very close to you. On 3rd and the mall. Go run out and talk to him. You'd be a hero!!
Jebman
I love how these northerly winds are blowing the snow all over the place!!! Wow what a storm, classic in every way. That wind is blowing snow right off the roofs, smashing visibilities! This is going to be so much fun. Its gonna be difficult to measure, that wind is blowing the snow right off my snowboard lol

WVsnowlover
Yeah. We have been getting crushed for almost an hour now. I wish I had measured right when the 40 DBZ stuff started. I would like to know how much an hour of this stuff equals. Regardless I picked up 1.3 from 8 to 9. That is incredible but not close to the 2 inch per hour rates I had with the February event. With the amount of precip left to come through here. I dont know how we dont end up on the high end of guidance. Up to 3.5". Picked up 1.7" in the last hour! mattie g
Yes, but how visible is Jim Cantore? He'll be plenty visible when he gets lit up by a lightning strike during a thundersnow squall.
North Balti Zen
Looks like about 1". Went to find my ruler and my daughter said "it might be buried in a pile of ice?". Yeah, an inch here too. Hoping for rippage at some point, would love to see a period with rates over an inch an hour. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Swiscaster
Those Kentucky measurements are probably bogus. Those rubes are probably looking at the centimeters side of the ruler. Just kidding!(?). I do remember seeing a stripe of 16" or 17" on some of the model runs prior to the storm.
