clskinsfan
9:00 2.5 inches 1.3 inches in the past hour. Heavy snow 30 degrees. This outer megaband means business. I have been under 35-40 DBZ returns for 45 minutes or more. If this ended right now it would have been an incredible storm!
SomeguyfromTakomaPark
I did notice that sidewalks with northern exposure accumulated more rapidly than those with southern exposure...now back to our regularly scheduled programming of just enjoying the storm. clskinsfan
Man this band is amazing! It's aimed at Frederick next. Yeah. We have been getting crushed for almost an hour now. I wish I had measured right when the 40 DBZ stuff started. I would like to know how much an hour of this stuff equals. Regardless I picked up 1.3 from 8 to 9. That is incredible but not close to the 2 inch per hour rates I had with the February event. With the amount of precip left to come through here. I dont know how we dont end up on the high end of guidance.

87storms
Rates aren't very impressive yet eastern side of Baltimore County..I suppse it will increase next hour. About a coating so far the excitement posts can make it look like we're having a blizzard but it actually took about an hour to become a legitimate snowstorm here. it's accumulating nicely now.
