mattie g
Eased up a little in the last 5 minutes, but everything's covered again, including roads. Had about 75% coverage on my lawn as of this morning and the whole thing is white again. Crazy stuff.

Stormpc
The moderate sleet I am getting is at least covering the ground and filling the puddles for the foundation of what looks to be changing into dendrites. Down to 32.2. 1 hour ago I was over 35, so the cold is coming in great. Of course, the north of B'More crew already working on their 3rd or 4th. Good stuff. BlizzardNole
1" now, mod snow and 32. Talk about lawn glaciers - the back yard behind/below us is poorly drained, and had about 5" of pure slush and water by this morning. It's about a 15-foot wide swath covering most of their small space, which will be one huge glacier after the re-freeze.
Jebman
32 degrees with a moderate snow/sleet mix. Accums have begun. Roads are caving. Immediate piling up of dendrites and sleet pellets are testament to just how icebox COLD the ground really is, including the sidewalks and our driveway even in exposed areas. The recently uncovered grass and some remaining patches of glacier are getting acquainted with approximately 15 billion new friends lol. EDIT: 31 degrees.
