NorthShoreWx
Very Marquettish winter here in Port Jeff...with the Sound playing L. Superior...that snowpack disappearance date of 25 March for out here that I floated not looking quite so bad...might even have to push it back a few days. Somewhere Mikehobbyist is pumping his fists. Guest Pamela
Somewhere Mikehobbyist is pumping his fists. Best long range forecast I've seen...and you can't say it was copied...nobody else would've ever come up with that.
NorthShoreWx
If it's measured correctly, than I could see 7.0 being correct at 4pm. If you clear and measure (on a board) or using a cold surface than you take away any settling affect. Sent from my iPhone However this is not correct. The guidelines for snow measurement have changed. The maximum depth before settling is supposed to be reported as the day's snowfall. http://www.nws.noaa.gov/om/coop/reference/Snow_Measurement_Guidelines.pdf

Guest Pamela
I'm making an exception. BOS needs 110+ I never root against Boston; though I know many do...they are on the coast like us and they have their share of heartbreak...for being that far to the north, a mean annual snowfall of 43" is nothing to envy. I mean, New Haven's long term numbers were like 37" in the 20th century. When I moved to Long Island, the town I rooted against was Albany...the quintessential location in the interior (albeit in a valley) that took the moisture off our Atlantic and turned it into white gold for their benefit; and at our expense. The guy pours his heart and soul into the pbp and then gets the shaft of the season…just a small area that did not crack 6" with this over NNJ. Not being sarcastic, really feel bad for the guy.
