brooklynwx99
Is it just me, or is the radar backbuilding into central PA? Looks like some bands in there as well.

SleetStormNJ
About to go out for a 2nd round of shoveling. Pouring snow here for the last hour or so. Don't like how fast the dry/cold air is advecting in and squashing the good radar returns, but hopefully, those bands SW of Allentown will still rotate through... Getting crushed where I am. Must be some terrific frontogenesis. Will go out to measure again soon.
NorthShoreWx
Heavy snow 23. Eyeballing 5" so take that with a grain of salt. Working now...will measure later. 18" on the snow stake. Most of the morning was light snow, although moderate over the past hour and now heavy.

JohnnyDop
West Hempstead. It's hard for me to measure accurately; the front and left side of my house are their own own private snow hole. The back and right side still have quite a bit of snow from before. Maybe 4"? Cool. I grew up in WH. Live in GCS now.

winterwx21
Anyone in the piscataway area? How's it looking down there? Heavy snow right now. Closing in on 6 inches. While the snow is heavy, it's nothing compared to the snowfall rate we had during that snow squall in February. That was the most exciting event of the season. I had never seen 2 inches of snow in 20 minutes. That was incredible. But while that squall was the most exciting event of the season, this is the best event of the season. Good chance we get to 8 which is the biggest storm of the season here. Awesome outside!

jm1220
The snow in eastern PA is already filling in the dry spots in N NJ and will swing through soon. This might be lighter but could stll add a couple of more inches. I think a number of posters will have 10" before the end and 8"+ on average from the city east and south. NJwinter23
Is it just me, or is the radar backbuilding into central PA? Looks like some bands in there as well. I think there is another zone of mid-level frontogenesis back there.
