Nibor
Have you ever seen a March day like this. 23 degrees, heavy snow, trees covered, 3-4 inches so far and about 15 inch snow depth Best backloaded winter in a long time. Anyone who says this has been a bad winter in the nyc area is crazy. I haven't had 1 double digit snow storm and still will be over 40 inches for the winter. BxWeatherwatcher
more echoes are backbuilding so we might be in the snow for a while..except if your in extreme nnj, where the dry air is chewing away at it but coming back strong as it crosses the metro area,i expect another 2-4 inches on top of my 5.5 already fallen..it is still snowing heavy right now with a temp of 22..so those ratios are excellent right now.. RU848789
About to go out for a 2nd round of shoveling. Pouring snow here for the last hour or so. Don't like how fast the dry/cold air is advecting in and squashing the good radar returns, but hopefully, those bands SW of Allentown will still rotate through... Mophstymeo
Where is Nassau? how much you get so far ? West Hempstead. It's hard for me to measure accurately; the front and left side of my house are their own own private snow hole. The back and right side still have quite a bit of snow from before. Maybe 4"?
