march can yield heavy snow  anyone remember the superstorm of 1993 nyc got about 11 inches of snow on march 12 or 13 all during the daytime :P

Lots of sleet and Zr too, I remember that sleet pounding at one point.Because of that several inches of ice, it remains a crippling historical storm for the area even tho we did not get the huge acums. You couldn't clean the stuff.

Looks like banding is becoming less of an issue for the next few hours with just about everyone I'm decent 1" hours rates. 2.5" upper west side

Unlike typical coastals these overrunning events tend to screw less people over and amounts are more uniform. It's the duration that matters most.

Justtt a little late, but they also upgraded the WWA to a Winter Storm Warning for Morris (maybe Warren too? I don't recall what they had originally) .

Upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning here in Morris County for 4-8" of snow. Guess it's better late than never
