I don't know if I see anything wrong with that.  If he can give his readers and clients a more accurate forecast, why not change it?  Although, I don't know if his map changed all that much, though I didn't look too closely.

It did change we were in the 9-12" range 6 hours ago. Now we are in the 6-10" area, albeit inside the 10" area.

The maps are a barely a step above the B&W charts from the GGEM in terms of readability!

There's a weather geek SNL skit in there somewhere...  DT and the 'GGEM guy' meet up and draw maps together...  They end up producing a line of Christmas sweaters.

The high's are high and the low's are a lot of "W T F...F*&k   F*&k's" being yelled aimlessly.  I do try to contain my meltdowns and not show them on here...but at the same time, the people on this board would be the only one who would fully understand it :)

I admit to quite literally and emphatically flipping off the GFS and NAM earlier today while at work, as it was displayed on my screen.  Thank goodness there weren't a lot of people around. :D

Yeah, I think that people on this board are the only ones who would "get it" and understand.

True, the text can be...well...you sometimes need a translator, I'll leave it at that!

But sometimes the lines on his charts do strange things, leaving one to wonder what is going on.

hey - I said readable... I didn't say they always made sense... hahaha

Totally of topic but a Viagra commercial just came on ESPN and every time i see one the girl is drop dead gorgeous. If you are with her you most certainly do not need Viagra.

Are most of you staying up all night, drinking, and awaiting the flip? I'm debating. Think I might set the alarm for 4am, crack a Stone IPA, and stare out the window for first flakes. Hmmmmmm...

I'm going to bed, but I'm taking OTC cold medicine that makes me jolt awake all night. I'll give up on sleep after about four hours.

But while we're talking about it...pd3 was particular awful with the whole "how will it stick with .5 over 12 hours" thing.  Man.

Yes, I recall that.  I...errr..."diplomatically" reminded him that last year we got 3" of snow on March 25 on far less than 0.5" liquid equivalent during the day.  There was even a lull for awhile and the pavement got covered more than I expected.  And that the timing was three weeks later than this upcoming event, not to mention it was warmer.

It's good to know that real people gripe and moan about closings as much as teachers.

DC loves an excuse to drink and sleep in. Now everyone has to wake up early to find out. The worst.
